Progeny

Sambourne Hyperion was born on 13th March 2021 out of Good Charlotte and by Kinsky Abraham a lovely palomino colt foal to make 16.2hh who is starting to go a lovely golden colour. As always, a lovely personality, easy to handle.  All of Good Charlotte's foals go on to do various sporting disciplines the favourite by far is dressage and he will look stunning doing a display. Hyperion is now in his new home with Hollie and with Sambourne Cronus, Poppy's first foal by Dunhill Desert Storm.  We wish them all the very best and hope to hear they are successful in their future careers.

Sambourne Spiro is now in his lovely home in Deeping St James in Cambridge with his very knowledgeable owner Jocelyn and we wish them both all the best for the future.  They keep in touch regularly via the Facebook Group - Sambourne Babies and we hope to hear of lots of success in the future.  Sambourne Spiro was born on the 10th March a lovely smokey black dun colt foal with a big white blaze and two white hind socks, his forelegs will be black.  In fact, Spiro is a little clone of his mum, Milly but has inherited the lovely temperament of his father, Dunhill Desert Storm.  He will make 16hh plus, will be a lovely strong medium to heavyweight Show Hunter Type.  It is very rare to find a dun horse that will grow over 16hh.  Sambourne Spiro is going to be a super looking horse in the Show Ring and given his sire's athletic ability I feel he will have a great career as a sports horse as well as in the showring.  This is Milly's first foal as well so was a unique foal to buy.    

Sambourne Astraea was born on 25th February 2021 the first foal of the 2021 season for Sambourne Stud and the first foal for Kinsky Abraham for 2021 season.  A lovely palomino filly with a big white blaze and three white socks to make 16hh plus, a real looker sure to do well in the Showing Ring. She has a sandy mane and tail - not white. Sambourne Astraea is now in her new home with her new owners and will be joined in due course by Sambourne Arion.  We wish them all the very best and hope they all turn into fantastic sports horses.

Asta and Mida are full sisters their mum being Good Charlotte and dad Jim Bob and they live together down in Essex with Colin their owner.  Asta is the eldest and was born in 2014 and Mida who was born in 2016.  They have both been broken in and enjoy hacking around the quiet lanes of Essex.

Theia was born in 2016 and is by Jim Bob and out of Mandy and is a full sister to Sambourne Zephyrus, Sambourne Calypso and Sambourne Helios.  Theia won her class at the Dressage Championships in 2022 and had her name in the Riders Magazine.  She also went to the Hunter Trials Championships at Swalcliffe in the 80m class and came third individually and the Team came 3rd.  She is just starting to do the odd 90cm over the Winter.  Her owners just love her ability and sweet nature.  What a success!  

Minton was born in 2017 and is by Jim Bob and out of Noodles and is a full brother to Sambourne Selene.  A lovely very gentle boy who loves his mum Julia and enjoys family life down in Wales.  A lovely piebald gelding to finish up at 16hh or possibly more.   

Sambourne Charon is colt foal born on 24th July 2020 by Jim Bob and his mum is Miss Mayfair.  This is May's first foal and will be a piebald and is in fact the very last foal by Jim Bob. He is very chunky, looks very much like Jim Bob in stature, and is extremely well marked with a lovely beautiful personality.    

Sambourne Charon will have great potential as a sports horse as May was quite successful on the race course and he will go over 16hh.  Obviously great showing potential as well and we think he will have a great ridden career as well.  Sambourne Charon is now with his new owner and half sister Sambourne Killini.

Sambourne Zephyrus was born on 7th July 2020 by Jim Bob and his mum is Mandy and is a full brother to Sambourne Theia, Sambourne Helios and Sambourne Calypso. A really big, strong, solid very flashy colt.  Although not having much white apart from his four white stockings he does have a black and white tail to establish his is coloured and worthy of his CHAPS passport.  Sambourne Zephyrus will have great potential as a sports horse.

Sambourne Aries is a dun colt foal born on the 29th June 2020 with black points and is by Dunhill Desert Storm out of One Cool Pet (Petal), he is a full brother to Sambourne Cronus who is a palomino.  He will make 16hh - possibly more and has a great career ahead of him as a sports horse.  Beautiful personality and very sweet like his mum.
