Foals
The first foal of the 2025 season has arrived. Sambourne Aphaea arrived on 15 April 2025 a lovely skewbald filly born to Pumpkin.
We do not have too many in foal this year, the ones confirmed in foal are Petal (One Cool Pet), Fly (Wolf Whistle), Madame Judge, Sky Dancer, Minnie (Minnie Miracle) and Erin (Excellent World).
Broodmares
Sambourne Stud has 21 broodmares. Many of our broodmares are ex racers or mares that have proved themselves either in competition or as a dam.
Most are registered Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods or Cobs and have come to us for a second chance in life where owners have not wanted them to be put to sleep or passed around. All are fit and healthy.
Rehabilitation
Sambourne Stud is able to offer bespoke Rehabilitation Livery for race horses.
We pride ourselves on being able to offer great care with tailor made flexible livery for you.
