Progeny

Sambourne Xanthe was born on 5th June 2022 her mother is Delphine and her dad is Sambourne Kratos.  This filly is an almost replica of her sister from last year and if she follows in the same suit she is going to a big 17hh or so.  Very much like her dad a big strong filly, very well made, a classic typical hunter type.  Everyone last year kept saying how much they liked her sister last year, she really did stand out.  She will grow into a proper upstanding horse and will turn her hoof to anything you want her to do.  Delphine has lots of ability and she will inherit that.  

Sambourne Oceanus is a first foal for Pumpkin an absolutely stunning buckskin colt foal.  The sire is Dunhill Desert Storm and Oceanus is a really tall, leggy, athletic foal.  He has a tiny white star on his forehead and two very unusual whorls on his forehead as well, very unique!  Black hooves all round with lovely black points on his leg, topped off with a black mane and tail.  I reckon this colt is going to have a great sporting career, he just loves to run.  He will make 16.2hh or more and has a fantastic nosey nature, into everything at the moment and a perfectly chilled out chap.  Oceanus is now with his owner Kirby up in Newcastle along with Esther's foal Sambourne Blaze of last year.  We wish them both every success and hope to see them both in lights in the future.

Sambourne Themis was born 15th May she is a well marked Skewbald Filly foal by Sambourne Kratos and out of Esther.  She will make 16hh or more and should do very well in the showing ring.  She is quite unusual in that she has black spots and flecks on every single leg just above the hoof, something I have not seen before.  All her hooves are striped as well.  She has a lovely temperament and should have a good sporting career ahead of her.  She has a CHAPS passport.  Themis is now in her new home and we wish her and her new family the best of luck for the future.  

Adonis went to his new home in Coventry on the 5th February 2023, we wish him and his new family loads of success and hope to see him on the circuit soon.

Sambourne Adonis is a Buckskin colt foal born on 9th May 2022 to Dee Natra (Fifty) and by Dunhill Desert Storm.  His colouring is beautiful, unique and extremely rare.  He has a white tip on his nose and has two white socks on both hind legs.  I would challenge you to find something as individual as this.  He is a very tall, strong and upstanding colt and will certainly make well over 16hh.  He is most definitely going to stand out in the show ring as he is just so distinctive and has a lot of presence about him.  I see no reason why he would not excel as a sports horse when he is ready for an education, and has a lovely easy going nature.  Adonis has just come back from his training with Will Hunt and will be shown next year in Yearling classes alongside Sambourne Original Prankster.  We will let him mature and develop and if this all goes well will geld him and break him lightly at three years of age.  He is such a laid back chap really friendly and super sweet.

Asclepius was born on 3rd April 2022 a colt foal for Sky Dancer and Sambourne Kratos.  He is a solid bay with just a crescent white mark on his forehead.  Good, strong and plenty of bone and will make an ideal Hunter.  Sky throws foal with really good movement so we are expecting more of the same from Asclepius.  He will make 16hh possibly more.  Hooves are black so unlikely that any lighter hairs will appear on his legs but the probability is that they will get darker so may have black points.  His tail however, does have a few white hairs.  Asclepius is now in his new home up in Ormskirk with his half brother Hidden Agenda.  We are really looking forward to him being as big a superstar as his half brother.  

Sambourne Crios was born 19th March 2022 a palomino colt foal with a big white blaze and incredibly four big white socks - an absolute stunner and the total epitome of what a true palomino should look like.  His totally stunning looks will make him a sure fire winner in his showing classes and I honestly expect a great showing career for this colt.  His mum is Poppy and she does produce really big foals 17hh plus in a lot of cases and he will certainly be big well into the 16hh plus region.  Crios is by Kinisky Abraham so will have an Anglo European Stallion passport.  I would anticipate Crios to have a great athletic career as well whether that be eventing or something else.  

Crios or "Chip" as he will now be known is with Holly and other Sambourne palomino foals and we wish them all a very successful ridden career. 

Sambourne Attis was born 12th March 2022 a colt foal for Sparkle and Sambourne Kratos.  Beautiful markings very much like his Dad and a beautiful skewbald for Sparkle which is quite unusual, her foals had tended to be very dark skewbalds almost piebald in colour.  A real strong, upstanding proper solid colt, he is going to be very smart in the show ring and will certainly end up 16hh or more.  Great potential as a Working Hunter and should excel competition wise as Sparkle is a Warmblood with a great dressage and showjumping lineage.  Attis is now with his new owners down in Hampshire and we wish him and his new family every success with him.  

Sambourne Thalia was born on the 6th March 2022, her mother is Fly (Wolf Whistle) and her sire is Dunhill Desert Storm.  She is a very tall filly foal and will very likely make 16hh plus.  Fly is probably  my best eventer, always bold and courageous, fantastic massive jump and never refused anything, so incredibly brave.  Hopefully her daughter will be much the same.  It is very rare to get a big palomino so Thalia has great potential on the showing scene as well as being a great competition horse.  It is not entirely clear how many white socks she has, certainly one, but it can take some days before the full colouration comes through.  Deposit now will ensure delivery in the Autumn if required.  Thalia is now at home with her new owners in Wales and we are really looking forward to this talented filly having a tremendous career and putting the Stud on the map.

Sambourne Rue is a skewbald filly foal by Sambourne Kratos out of One Cool Pet (Petal) a lovely marked filly and has inherited Kratos body.  She was born on the 18th June 2021 the last foal of 2021. A good strong foal which will make 16hh plus and have a great career ahead of her both in sporting events and showing classes.  Rue is now with her new owner up in the North East of England along with several others.  We look forward to them all meeting in the same showing class and see who is judged the winner!
