Sambourne Kratos - Stallion

Sambourne Kratos is a 17.3hh Normandy Cob x Hanoverian tobiano skewbald heterozygous Stallion.  Kratos has tested negative for the PSSM1 gene mutation.  He is by Jim Bob and out of Midge (Mignnone) and born June 2018.

He has excellent shape and conformation and is a proper well made and substantial cob type with all the action and has a lovely forward going pace and is in no way a plod.  His movement is phenomenal.  The vast majority of his foals excel at eventing then dressage and of course because of his colour - showing.  So many have qualified for Coloured or Show Hunter Type Championships.

This tremendous fully registered CHAPS stallion has a super laid back temperament with the best of manners and is very kind around mares and foals. His temperament is amazing and people often do not believe he is a stallion, he is just such an easy going lad.  He is an old classical heavy type with plenty of flat bone but not a lot of feather.  Guaranteed to put substance and body on your foal.

A fabulous stallion whose progeny do stand out in the show ring. His foals have all inherited his beautiful easy going nature and his current coloured sire rate is around 60%.  An ideal type to put to any type of mare to create amazing cross breeds, so is open to both light and heavy mares. Kratos is available for natural service here at Sambourne Stud.
